Lucy Quinn Fabray
‘Cause I am barely breathing
And I can’t find the air
I don’t know who I’m kidding
Imagining you care
And I could stand here waiting
A fool for another day
But I don’t suppose it’s worth the price, worth the price
The price that I would pay

Quinn wasn't born Quinn Fabray. She was born Lucy. Lucy Quinn. She was never the type of child most people would consider beautiful. She was chubby and awkward and spent her early years known as "Lucy Caboosy'. Lucy hated her life. She hated everything about her life, she was constantly teased, mistreated and verbally abused.
When she was in eighth grade, Lucy finally snapped. She took dance lessons, died her hair and got some plastic surgery and soon became Quinn. She went from being the victim to being the tormentor. Quinn was pretty and popular. Pure. She was the type of girl people wanted to be and she loved it.
Then she got pregnant. Her pregnancy was unexpected. She went through a lot during that time. Her father snapped and kicked her out, her mother betrayed her and she was alone expecting a baby. Quinn convinced herself that she didn't want the baby and gave her up.
It was after she gave her up that her life began to fall apart. Quinn realized once Beth was gone how much she loved her and missed her. She spent her entire Junior year in denial. A shell of her former self. She wasn't the girl she use to be and yet, she had no idea who she was. That Summer, Quinn's father moved home and things changed for her. She went from being blond and perfect to a rebel. Her hair was pink and her nose ring stood out. She wasn't perfect Quinn Fabray anymore. She had no idea who she was.
She was alright. For a while she was alright. Then Shelby came back and suddenly her life seemed out of control. She has one mission in life. Get her daughter back. Even if it meant putting on an act. She has always been a good actress.the roleplayer

To say Quinn has been overwhelmed lately is an understatement. So much has gone on in her life. So many things she regrets and wishes she could take back. Her break up with Puck.. wasn’t the best thing that ever happened to her. He cheated on her though. Quinn couldn’t believe he cheated on her, but he did. She kicked him out (Which she regrets the way she did it) and after that her life was a blur. She had to deal with her best friend getting with her said ex, someone she was certain she wasn’t completely over and of course, get pregnant with his baby.
But she tried so hard to just.. Focus on herself. She had a lot going on. Hospitalization for an eating disorder, depression. She wasn’t as happy as she let people believe. In fact, the past month has probably been one of the worse months in her life. She just felt.. bad. After getting out of the hospital, part of the requirement was to see a Therapist who had her talk about everything and anything, her eating patterns, relationships, what was on her head. It drove Quinn insane at first, but after a while she realized how much she needed her around. Quinn saw her often. More often than she would like to admit. She wasn’t crazy, she just had issues. Everyone has issues, right?
The problem is, she wasn’t taking her therapists advice to heart. She wasn’t crazy. At all. She just needed to figure out who she was and what she was going to do. She spent most her free time going to work, going to school and sleeping. She spent a lot of time sleeping. Quinn just rather not deal with the crappy reality she called life at that moment. She met him by accident.
Ryan was in her World Music class. He’s been flirting with her since she arrived at Julliard, but Quinn ignored him mostly, until they were assigned to the same Project and he spent the next few weeks worming his way into her life. Quinn tried hard to push him out, but he was there and she learned to accept it.
At first Ryan was sweet and charming. Blonde, with flopping hair, cocky grin and a southern drawl. Ryan asked her out a few times, and Quinn turned him down. That is until he showed up back stage with flowers and a picnic basket, declaring that their first date, right there in her dressing room while she was still in costume. It was sweet and romantic. Quinn started spending a lot of time with Ryan, and for the first time, she felt excited, happy. She wasn’t crazy at all. That was proof.
She ‘dated’ Ryan for a few weeks when he began pressuring her for sex. Once they got together, Quinn realized that he wasn’t as charming. His smile didn’t light up his eyes, but she figured it was because he was busy with school. She didn’t realize his motives.
She broke up with him on a Monday. They got into a fight because she was talking to one of her costars at this club, and it was then he grabbed her by the arm and shoved her. Quinn, instantly freaked out as he took her into his arms and swore he would never do that again. She forgave him. Like an idiot, she forgave him.
It startled her how quickly their relationship turned sour. Not even a month into the relationship and he was displaying a side she has never seen before. The second time he touched her (Grabbed her arm so hard she had bruises) Quinn broke up with Ryan and dropped the class. She decided she needed to focus on herself. She got help, Hilarie gave her medicine that was working and she was finally feeling like herself for the first time in a long time. No Dim Sum, no Jabray’s, just Quinn, and she needed that.
Quinn made the decision to forgive Puck and try and become friends with him, but so far she has failed. She wished it would work out, she wanted it to work out, but she didn’t understand how. Instead, she focused on herself. Quinn needed to focus on Quinn. She needed to find Quinn. She didn’t want to be second best in someone’s life. She needed someone who wanted her for her. Even if she did miss Puck like crazy.
Quinn wasn’t sure why she asked Natalie for Andrew’s number, but in a way she was glad she did. He was a nice guy, a really nice guy and their first date was perfect. Even if it was corny, it screamed Andrew and she needed that. While she was weary, she knew he wasn’t’ Ryan, and Andrew was a good man. She deserved happiness and that is what she is aiming for.
